These terms of use are entered into by and between You and Chat Riot, LLC (referred to as “Chat Riot,” “we,” or “us”). The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, "Terms of Use"), govern your access to and use of Chat Riot, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through trychatriot.com (the “Website”), whether as a guest or a registered user.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Website. By accessing or using Chat Riot, or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy (linked [here]). If you do not agree, you must not access or use Chat Riot.

Eligibility

Chat Riot is currently available to users 18 years of age or older and primarily operates within the United States. By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and meet all applicable eligibility requirements.

Chat Riot may expand to additional countries in the future. If you access the platform from outside the United States, you do so at your own discretion and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Chat Riot is a platform for real-time, user-moderated video conversations. It does not endorse specific viewpoints expressed in chats, nor does it assume responsibility for the opinions, statements, or actions of its users. Chat Riot does not record video chats, nor does it retain chat history.

Changes to the Terms of Use

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time. All changes are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all access and use of Chat Riot thereafter. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are responsible for checking this page periodically for updates.

Accessing Chat Riot & Account Security

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend Chat Riot without notice. We will not be liable if Chat Riot is unavailable for any reason. From time to time, we may restrict access to some or all parts of the platform.

You are responsible for:

  • Making necessary arrangements to access Chat Riot.

  • Ensuring anyone using your internet connection is aware of these Terms and complies with them.

To register for Chat Riot, you may be required to provide certain details or personal information. You agree that any information provided is accurate and up to date. Your account is personal to you, and you must not share your login credentials with others.

Prohibited Conduct

You may use Chat Riot only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

  1. Violate any federal, state, or international law or regulation.

  2. Engage in harassment, abuse, or hate speech.

  3. Share or solicit personally identifiable information from other users without consent.

  4. Post, transmit, or distribute harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

  5. Record, share, or distribute any Chat Riot conversations or videos without explicit consent from all participants.

  6. Attempt to impersonate Chat Riot staff, other users, or public figures.

  7. Use the platform for commercial purposes (e.g., promotions, spamming).

  8. Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code to the platform.

  9. Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt Chat Riot’s operations.

Violations of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

User Contributions & Moderation

Chat Riot includes user-generated content in video chats, text discussions, and community interactions. By participating in Chat Riot, you acknowledge that:

  • User-moderated chats allow users to set their own discussion guidelines.

  • Riot Rooms are unmoderated and free-flowing but must still adhere to Chat Riot’s content guidelines.

  • Chat Riot does not endorse or verify the accuracy of statements made by users.

Chat Riot reserves the right to remove content or restrict access for users who violate platform policies.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of Chat Riot is subject to our Privacy Policy (linked [here]), which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Chat Riot does not record video chats.

By using Chat Riot, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with online conversations. Users are encouraged to use discretion when sharing personal information.

Fees & Payment

Chat Riot operates on a token-based system for access to certain features.

  • Users may purchase tokens to participate in video chats.

  • Subscription models or Riot Pass options may be available for frequent users.

  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers like Stripe.

  • No refunds will be issued for unused tokens or subscriptions.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

All matters related to Chat Riot and these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.

Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

Limitation of Liability

Chat Riot provides access to real-time conversations but makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or legality of user-generated content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chat Riot disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • That the platform will always be available or error-free.

  • That user interactions will always be safe or appropriate.

  • That Chat Riot endorses the opinions of its users.

Chat Riot is not liable for any damages resulting from:

  • User interactions, disputes, or misconduct.

  • Unauthorized use of user information.

  • Platform downtime or service disruptions.

Changes & Termination

Chat Riot reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms.
